One of the biggest gaps to children’s success in school is parental support and engagement – beginning from the early years right through to graduation. All parents want the best for their children, but many families are often faced with multiple barriers. As a result, some parents begin their child’s education worried about as how best to support them, which prevents them from having a clear role in their child’s learning.
We believe that parents’ voices are critical in developing new approaches for family engagement. Our project focuses on listening to their ideas as equal and valued members of a design team committed to creating a new approach to engaging families in their children’s learning. |
Our focus is on building relationships between schools, teachers, parents and children, all of which will benefit from improved home-school relationships.
We offer a variety of diverse services such as online parenting book clubs, free books for children and book parcels for newborns. |
