Our Settlement and Integration Services support the social and economic integration of newcomers to the province. CCPL provides settlement and integration services of newcomers to the Cariboo communities of Williams Lake and 100 Mile House and outlying areas.
We help clients navigate immigration processes, meet settlement needs, connect to the community, access labour market information and supports, and upgrade their English language skills. Services are intended to help clients achieve their best possible settlement outcomes, which in turn benefits the broader community.
If you need a translator or interpreter to help you understand or complete IRCC or BCSIS applications, instruction guides, or other government forms, here are some available options:
Check the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia to see if there is a registered translator/ interpreter in your language.
Mosaic: Interpretation and Translation Services is a Vancouver-based non-profit agency that offers services in 70+ languages.
For informal interpreting (restrictions apply), our volunteer base may be able to assist you.
Financial assistance to partially or completely cover translator/interpreter fees may be available.
This program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) alongside BC Settlement and Integration Services (BCSIS), Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
